Zoey in the MidSouth

Hi! My Name Is Zoey in the MidSouth

I'm Available

Zoey is a sweet, affectionate, easygoing 7‑year‑old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is ready to find a family to adore. She loves relaxing on a soft bed or couch, staying close to her people, and settling into a calm daily routine. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and new people, and while she may bark when visitors arrive, she settles quickly with reassurance.

💛 Personality & Home Life

Zoey is a gentle girl who thrives on companionship and being included in daily activities. She hasn’t been around young children, but she does well with older, dog‑savvy kids. She enjoys quiet homes, predictable routines, and people who appreciate her calm, loving nature.

She’s not a toy‑driven girl, but she may chase a tennis ball for fun. Her true joys? Showers, baths, and brushing. If you’re not looking for a shower buddy, you may want to secure the bathroom door—Zoey will happily join you!

🐾 Training & Habits

Zoey is a smart, house‑trained girl who knows sit, down, and shake. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys evening strolls in cool weather—she’s not a fan of the heat. She may whine when she needs to go out and has a very predictable morning routine: outside first thing, breakfast, then back out again.

She sleeps soundly through the night in her kennel beside her person’s bed, though she would happily accept an invitation to snuggle in bed.

Throughout the day, she takes regular potty breaks but can comfortably hold it for several hours. She gets one last trip outside before bedtime and then settles in for a peaceful night.

🚗 Car Rides & Reactions

Zoey rides well in the car when crated. She may bark if she thinks she’s being left behind—she just wants to stay with her people. When meeting someone new, she is friendly and may look to her person for reassurance.

Loud motorcycles and lawn mowers bother her, but thunderstorms don’t faze her at all.

🍎 Medical Information

Zoey recently completed her dental with no extractions and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She does have a heart murmur, but at this time she does not require medication and is doing well.

She’s a larger Cavalier at about 30 lbs and enjoys occasional snacks of fresh fruits and veggies like blueberries, apples, green beans, carrots, and watermelon.

Her one mischievous habit? Trash cans. If she can get into them, she will—so she has been crated or kept in secured rooms when left alone.

🏡 Ideal Home

Zoey would be happiest in a home where:

She is included in daily activities

Alone time is limited

Trash is secured

She has another dog or dog‑savvy cat for company (though she could be an only dog if her person is home most of the day)

Older, respectful children are present

She is a loving, gentle girl who simply wants to be near her people and enjoy a peaceful, predictable life.

Zoey Is Ready for Her Forever Family

With her sweet nature, easygoing routine, and affectionate heart, Zoey will make a wonderful companion for a family who wants a calm, loving Cavalier by their side. She’s ready to bring joy, comfort, and companionship to her new home.
