Thor came to us needing emergency lifesaving surgery one night for a blockage! He is 1 year old and has not been well for a couple of days. He stopped eating and has had diarrhea and has been vomiting. Taken to the ER vet, exam and tests confirm intestinal blockage. Thor's surgery found that he had a rope toy and pieces of the plastic from it lodged in his intestine and stomach. The obstruction was pressing up against his pancreas, causing pancreatitis too. He was in intensive care through the night and most of the next day. He stayed another night at the ER clinic and late on Wednesday night was released to go home with his foster family to heal. Thor will not be available for adoption for a while until he is healed and his needs are assessed. The estimate for surgery was $5000 to save his life. If you donated to save Thor, we are forever grateful, thank you!
