This handsome little guy is neutered, has recently had a sparkling dental cleaning, and is ready to find his forever home. Theo’s Personality
Theo is a certified couch potato who adores his people. His favorite place in the world is right on the couch beside you, where he feels safe, secure, and oh-so-loved. He’s a dog who treasures time spent in close companionship, preferring to relax and enjoy the simple joys of life. While Theo is incredibly affectionate and devoted, he is also a sensitive soul. Sudden noises like doors shutting or other dogs barking can startle him, and he’s still learning how to navigate the world beyond his comfort zone.
Leash training is a work in progress for Theo. He’s not quite sure what to make of that strange leash just yet, but with patience, encouragement, and some high-value treats (his foster mom is working on finding his favorites!), we hope to make progress. This will be ongoing training need for him. A patient adopter who can continue this positive reinforcement training will be a wonderful fit for Theo, and has experience and time to train.
Theo is looking for a calm, loving household where his people understand his need for patience and gentle encouragement. He would do best in a home that embraces his laid-back lifestyle and doesn’t expect him to be a high-energy playmate. While he gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats, his primary love will always be his humans. Providing him with a quiet, nurturing environment and plenty of cuddles will allow Theo to blossom into the best version of himself.
