Hi, I’m Sterling and I am a looking for a home where I can enjoy all that life has to offer including a comfy couch, a dog companion of any size, lots of toys, and a fenced yard where I can show you how much I love to run. I love to be around my dog foster siblings and am great with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I like to be around my foster humans, but I am a bit shy so I prefer to approach humans as I feel comfortable and I don’t always enjoy people approaching me. I do very well in a kennel and sleep through the night. I do bark on occasion when I want something like food or to go outside, or if it sounds like the other dogs are having fun without me. I love toys and I love to run! I am very food motivated and will work through my uncertainties with food and patience. My foster mom has been working on being able to touch my collar and attach a leash without me being afraid. I am good about pottying outside and will let you know when I have to go by going to the door or by finding you and barking, but you need to move quick when I tell you it’s time! I would do best in a home that doesn’t have cats as they move really fast and I get a little too excited about chasing them. I like to sit on the couch with my foster humans chew on toys or take a nap. I am a sweet guy with the best expressions and I can’t wait to find my forever home that will continue to show me patience and love as I settle into your family!
