Stassi in Southeast

Hi! My Name Is Stassi in Southeast

I'm Available

Stassi is an absolute gem of a Cavalier—sweet, affectionate, loyal, and ready to be someone’s whole world. This fancy little girl will take your heart and run with it. She’s playful, curious, energetic, and a professional-level snuggler who thinks quiet afternoon naps on the couch with her person are the height of luxury.
Personality & Home Life
Stassi is a people oriented girl who has especially bonded with her foster mom. Morning coffee on the deck, evening TV time, following her person from room to room—those are her love languages. She’ll gently ask for “uppies” by placing her paws on your legs and wagging, and once lifted, she melts into your arms like a baby, tummy ready for kisses.
She gets along well with confident, calm cats, but will chase timid ones. With dogs, she’s social, playful, and enjoys having a canine buddy—especially the larger mixed breed pup in her foster home. She is not toy or treat aggressive and loves to play tug, shake her toys, and practice her new favorite game: fetch.
Training & Routine
Stassi is smart and eager to please. She has a solid sit, her recall improves every day, and she walks beautifully on a harness. Her house training is coming along well—having frequent potty breaks in the fenced yard has helped tremendously.
She currently sleeps in a crate at night and is crated for short periods (up to 3 hours) during the day to maintain consistency with house training. But if she had her way, she’d be snuggled up in bed with her person.
Her daily routine includes:
• Straight from crate morning potty
• Breakfast around 7:30–8:00
• A short crate period while foster mom feeds horses
• Free time with her foster siblings—playing, exploring, or shadowing her person
• Dinner around 7–8 pm
• Evening snuggles and playtime
Health
Stassi is happy 2 year old. She has mild cataracts that will need monitoring and is finishing treatment for ear mites from intake.
She is missing her right eye after being bitten by a neighbor’s dog when she escaped under a fence. It hasn’t slowed her down one bit—she navigates confidently, plays enthusiastically, and lives life with joy.
She’s being transitioned to a readily available maintenance diet and is a hearty eater who never leaves a crunchy behind. Grooming needs are standard Cavalier care—nothing special beyond routine appointments.
Ideal Home
Stassi will thrive in a home that offers:
• A securely fenced yard (non negotiable—she is an escape artist)
• At least one playful dog friend
• A person who enjoys being adored, especially a mom type figure she can bond closely with
• Confident cats only, if any
• A family who appreciates a cuddly, energetic, affectionate companion
She is equally happy indoors or outdoors, loves car rides, and is excited to meet new people as she gains more social experience.
Why You’ll Love Her
Stassi is the kind of dog who leans in for full face kisses, flops into your arms, and shines under affection. She’s spirited, joyful, and deeply loving. With the right home, she will be the center of someone’s life—and she will return that love tenfold.
