Spencer came to rescue in January with his sister Emma when their family had to move nd could not longer keep them. He is 13. He has a mild heart murmur but is on no medication.
Spencer recently had a dental and is doing fine. He is very smart and learns new things quickly. He loves to go for walks and cuddle on your lap.
Both Spencer and his sister Emma need socialization and exposure to friendly dogs, as they never experienced exposure in their former home. Their initial reaction is to bark, but we are working on improvement in their behavior and reactions.
Spencer is being fostered in the Pittsburgh area so if you live within a reasonable driving distance of there and are willing to adopt a sweet older dog, please apply. If you are willing to adopt both Spencer and Emma please indicate that on your application as preference will be given to adopters willing to adopt them both.
