Sir Charles “Charlie” in Texas

Sir Charles is a 7 year old boy whose journey has been filled with being the companion dog Cavaliers are meant to be. Charlie lived with his owner, and did his job as the companion spaniel, in a memory care facility until his owner died. He then went to live with another family member until she became terminally ill and could no longer provide him the care he needed. The family reached out to us to help care for Sir Charles. Upon intake vetting we have learned he has bad hips with severe bilateral hip luxation and arthritis in spine and hips. He also has a luxating right knee and a grade 3 heart murmur although no heart enlargement. We will share more about him as we get to know him.
