Scout in MId atlantic

Meet Scout, an 6 yr old Ruby male who is being fostered in Maryland. Scout has a grade 2 heart murmur. At intake he was underweight, and had severe skin and ear infections. Scout had a significant urinary tract infection which led to the discovery that he had bladder stones. He had surgery to remove them and is doing well after the procedure. Analysis of the stones revealed that he will need to be on an Rx diet for the rest of his life. He will need to have a urinalysis checked every 4 months. He has adjusted very well while in foster care. He plays with the foster's female cavalier, and gets along with the foster's cat. He is sweet and likes to cuddle. He loves to go on long walks, does well on a leash, and likes car rides. He does well with older well-behaved children. He has begun to play with toys, and is learning basic obedience with the use of treats, which he loves. Scout is a bit needy and would probably prefer to be an only dog.
