Sasha loves everyone. She’s a gorgeous silky black and tan with eyes you want to fall into and beautiful long ears. She has not met a human or animal that she cannot win over. She is a picky eater, if there is something meaty and tasty she loves it. Plain kibble…. not so much. Sasha loves to play fetch, tug-of-war, walk, and go on car rides (she can be very insistent on going. So be prepared) and gives amazing kisses. You say “sit” she has the prettiest sit, standing tall and proud waiting (kinda) for her treat. She is one of a pack at the foster’s house. It is fun to see her playing with her foster brothers and sisters and helping them chase the birds and squirrels in the backyard (good exercise). Then chasing each other and being silly. She is a pro at snuggling. Loves her dog bed and loves to sleep with you especially on the pillow over your head. Sasha is a prissy little girl that doesn’t like to go outside when it’s cold and rainy. This little girl is a couch potato that wants nothing more than to lay in bed and/or curl up next to her favorite person between meals. She likes being around her people and other dogs. She hates being left behind. She would love to have a family that treats her as their princess and wants to be her forever home.
Sasha does not have a lot of leash experience, so a house with a securely fenced yard (no electric fences) is probably best. You must live within a two-hour drive from her foster home in the Pacific Northwest to be considered for adoption. Meet and greets at both the foster and potential adopter’s home are required. Potential adopters must pass a vet reference check and an in home visit to be considered. You must have a recent vet reference and previous dog experience.
