Hi, I'm Sam. I came to rescue with 45 or my brothers and sisters. They are all wonderful, but I am the cutest of all.
After several weeks in foster, I am still a bit skittish, but I follow my foster mom around and great her with happiness, but I still often stay about a foot away. I get the zoomies in the yard watching the other dogs play ball and I love toys. I have gotten really good at routines and haven't had an accident in the house in weeks. I even signal when I am ready to go out. I am super treat motivated, so I learned to sit and come when I hear my name. I am also working on back, stay and wait especially at the stairs and front door so I don't try to dart out. This week I found my voice and bark when new people come close to me.
I have two great foster sisters, so I've gotten to meet lots of kids this summer. I'm bummed they have to go back to school now so its just me and Mom to hang around the house.
