Hi, I’m Rory!
I may be on the small side, but I am a really good eater and I love to work for treats, so I will be easy to train. My foster mom says I’m a quiet and really sweet boy, but I’m a little shy, so we are working on my confidence. I’m still getting used to children and men, but I have already learned cats are just dogs with an attitude, so I mostly ignore them.
Continued training, and a calm, consistent routine and environment will help me be my best. Because I am a follower, not a leader, I would benefit from another well-trained dog to show me the ropes at your home. I will run after things I find interesting, so a fenced yard would be best. I really, really like those butterflies! I love to cuddle and already know 'sit'. I am used to sleeping in my crate or cushy dog bed at night, and I get to bring both of them with me to your house! Yay! (Just so you know, I also love snuggling close to a person in a big bed and sleep really soundly all night long.) My foster mom is working with me on my leash training, and I am getting better every day!
