Rocket is a joyful, affectionate young boy who settled into his foster home with ease and grace. From day one, he’s shown excellent house manners—no accidents, no fuss, just a sweet companion who loves to be near his person. He walks beautifully on leash alongside his Cavalier foster sibling and delights in outdoor strolls and ball-fetching sessions.
This little gentleman sleeps soundly in bed, responds to “sit” and “no,” and is learning to enter his crate calmly with a treat. He’s not food-guarding, and while he’ll hop up for attention, he listens well and gets down on command. Rocket thrives on closeness and gentle scratches, and his personality is as precious as his name suggests.
Rocket has done well meeting dogs in the community and shows no preference between men or women. He hasn’t yet been introduced to children, but his calm nature and playful spirit suggest he may do well with respectful young companions. He’s currently eating Purina Pro Plan (salmon and rice) twice daily, with small dog bones as occasional treats.
While Rocket enjoys active play and yard time, he also settles beautifully for naps and quiet moments. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time—he’s used to that rhythm and blossoms with companionship and engagement. A family or individual who can offer regular walks, playtime, and lots of love will find Rocket to be a truly special addition.
Rocket is scheduled for neuter soon, and we hope to clip his nails at that time. He will be ready to bring joy, cuddles, and a touch of zoomie magic to his forever home once he has recovered.
