Hi there. My name is Rion, aka Princess Snuggle Bug. They're not sure how old I am - probably between 2 and 3 years old. I have a wonky eye that we put drops in and that we are evaluating, but it doesn’t stop me from living my best life. I love to snuggle up close to my foster mom and smother her with my fluffy ears, or lie on my back, in her lap, to give her the opportunity to rub my tummy. I love to follow her around the house like a shadow, and I’m learning how to watch when she’s in the kitchen and not get under foot. But ya know, I’m ready to play vacuum if she accidentally drops something (like bacon or chicken or broccoli bones) on the floor.
I have a favorite corner of the sofa that I love to sleep in (ok, I’m a couch potato) as well as sleeping in the big cloud bed with my foster mother and foster sister, who is showing me the ropes on how to live in the house and how to hang out on the deck, snooze, and watch for lizards ( boy are they quick) and where to potty and where not to potty (well that’s mostly foster mom) I love treats and breakfast and dinner, and I get very excited about treats but we’re working on my manners and I have mastered sitting for treats.
I will also keep your seat warm if you leave the table and I don’t eat off plates…much. I’m not fond of baths and these things called pedicures are not my favorite. But a princess has to keep up appearances, so I tolerate them. I do not like thunder or sudden loud noises, and I hide behind the sofa cushions or in my crate if mom is not available.
I am being fostered in Raleigh, North Carolina, so if you live within reasonable driving distance and have room in your life for a Princess, please apply. I would love to have another dog, preferably a cavalier, to keep me company.
