Introducing Prada, a beautiful and sensitive 2-year-old tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel whose soulful eyes and soft demeanor reflect both her gentle spirit and her extraordinary resilience. Prada has traveled a long way on her journey to trust, and she is searching for a patient, loving home that values quiet comfort and gentle encouragement.
Personality & Quirks
Prada is the epitome of sweetness wrapped in a little package of shyness. She is quite timid, often startled by fast movements or loud noises, so a serene and predictable environment is where she’ll truly blossom. Though nervous around people, Prada finds confidence in canine company—she interacts beautifully with other dogs and often takes her cues from them. She’s also utterly unbothered by cats, making her a lovely addition to homes with feline companions.
While she may be slow to warm up, once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll discover a devoted friend who loves nothing more than to be close—especially at bedtime, when she insists on snuggling up and keeping a gentle paw or her whole body touching you as she sleeps.
Progress & Learning
With patience and positive reinforcement, Prada is making wonderful strides. She is learning the basics like “come” and “sit,” and is beginning to understand the magic of treats—she thinks they’re absolutely the bomb! While Prada is not fully leash trained just yet, she’s growing accustomed to her leash and harness each day and is curious about the world around her.
She’s a quick study when it comes to house training and is doing exceptionally well in her crate. Grooming is still a bit of an adventure, but with gentle coaxing, Prada will even let you shave the bottom of her feet.
Daily Routine
Prada’s days are filled with gentle rhythms and simple joys. She goes outside for bathroom breaks, then comes in to eat her meals (she eats twice a day), takes a peaceful nap, and enjoys bursts of playful energy chasing other dogs around the yard. She absolutely delights in this ritual and has even mastered the art of jumping into the chair at every opportunity, eager to join in on new adventures with her person.
At night, Prada prefers to sleep in bed with her person, always seeking the comfort of touch—a sweet reminder of the bond she’s building day by day.
Ideal Home
Prada will thrive in a calm, quiet home without little children—one with a steady routine, gentle hands, and perhaps another friendly dog to show her the ropes. Her ideal family will understand that trust takes time and that her love, once earned, is a treasure.
No health concerns have been noted, and Prada’s gentle heart is ready to find a safe haven where she can continue to bloom. If you have a peaceful home and a compassionate spirit, Prada just might be the perfect companion for you.
