Hi, my name is Peanut and I am two years old. I came to rescue with 45 of my brothers and sisters. Boy did we luck out. I landed in a great foster home with other dogs to play with, a great yard to explore and a foster family who love on me every chance they get.
I must say I am the sweetest of sweet dogs. But do not let my size fool you as I have a great big personality. I love to boss around the other dogs and will blaze my own path. When I want outside, I give a high-pitched bark. Once outside, I race around the yard and check the perimeter. It very important that I discover any new leaves or small animals tht might have surfaced. I did escape my first foster's yard the very first week, so a very secured backyard is a must. Most of the day, I am lazy and love snoozing in a comfy couch or lap.
I have been exposed to other dogs (big and small) and a very large cat. They are all wonderful and I treat them like family. I am great with new people, never shying away. My foster mother made sure I was crate trained for nighttime, but I do get to sleep in human beds when my foster siblings come home from college. My spunky personality combined with my petite size make me the perfect companion.
I am being fostered in the Marietta, Georgia area. You must live no more than a two-hour drive from here to even be considered for my forever home. Don't forget about the very secure yard -- and tiny yards do not count. I need room to explore. I prefer not to be left alone for long, so if you work outside the home all day, please do not apply to adopt me. My foster mother has a reputation for holding out for the perfect home, and she is not easily fooled. I am a very special girl and I deserve the very best.
