I’m Patriot and I am loving and playful. I am 3-4 years old, but I am as playful and energetic as a puppy. I’m working on housebreaking and am making great progress. I love getting treats when I potty outside. Until then, I wear belly bands since I do like to mark especially with my foster brother around. I eat in my crate and am a good eater. I have started playing with toys and still occasionally love to chew.
I do enjoy having foster siblings and would like to have other dogs in my new home. I am very outgoing, I’m still a little shy when being picked up. I can’t wait to have people of my own! I can get very anxious when on my own, so I'm hoping to find someone who is home with me most of the time. I want love so much that I’ll jump into almost any lap to give kisses and get pets and belly rubs. I love everyone I meet, young and old. I don’t notice the bunnies in the yard or care to chase them. However, my foster family’s bearded dragon is a different subject! I love to be around people and tend to get underfoot a lot so I may not be great around those with mobility issues.
I hope I’ll get to sleep with my new family, but will adjust to a crate – if I have to - as long as it is near my people.
