Meet Missy. Missy, is a 6-year-old captivating tricolor with the soulful eyes. She is very well-behaved and is fully housebroken and crate trained. Missy came to rescue ten pounds overweight and has been success at losing most of that weight through a monitored diet and exercise. It is imperative that Missy has access to a fenced-in backyard or is always leashed. She will bolt if she finds anything entertaining, and she won't come back until she's ready.
Besides the dream of catching a squirrel one day, Missy loves nothing more than cozy cuddles on the couch next to her human. Her gentle demeanor and affectionate nature make her the perfect lap dog. However, she has the loudest snore this side of the Mississippi! Missy is generally very content in a variety of situations, especially outings and car rides, but napping and looking out the window at the birds and squirrels are her favorite hobbies. She loves cats and dogs of all sizes and children. She loves to be around people and will sit in your lap as long as you’ll pet her.
She is perfect for a family where someone is always home.
