Manny is a sweet Blenheim Cavalier who is still finding his footing in the world. Not quite ready for adoption just yet, Manny will need to be neutered and given a little more time to adjust—but he’s already showing us what a loving companion he will become.
Personality
Manny began his journey shy and nervous, but his gentle heart is shining through. He now spends most of his day happily following his foster or curled up in their lap.
He warms up quickly to new people—when a guest visited, Manny was curious and friendly right away.
Manny loves companionship. He clings closely to his foster and prefers cuddles over toys, with his favorite spots being right next to you or stretched out in the sun.
Home Life
Manny is learning house training with encouragement and praise. He follows the lead of his foster’s Cavalier, which helps him understand routines.
He’s fine in the crate and has even shared it peacefully with another dog.
Manny is curious about cats—sometimes barking when they pass by, but often sitting quietly when they approach.
Quick movements can make him nervous, but he’s already improving after just a few days in foster care.
Training & Habits
Manny seems to recognize “stay” and possibly “sit,” though he’s still learning.
He hasn’t started leash training yet, but that will come soon.
He does not food guard, does not jump up, and enjoys praise.
Manny snores adorably and has a habit of scratching behind his right ear or rubbing his face on the rug.
Ideal Home
Manny would thrive in a quiet home with another Cavalier to guide him. He finds comfort in following his foster’s dog and benefits from the companionship. With patience, gentle encouragement, and lots of cuddles, Manny will blossom into a devoted, affectionate family member.
