Hi! My Name Is Louis in the Mid Atlantic

Louis is an adorable and playful puppy. He's a bit larger than most cavaliers but is not overweight.
He has been progressing great in foster care. He's been walking well on a leash and has learned to sniff and explore the world outside. He's still working on his potty training but reliably doing his #1 outside. Still working on his #2's.
He's an energetic puppy who's loves to play. He gets along well with other dogs. He recently started displaying a propensity for chewing things - typical puppy behavior but he must feel safe enough to not hold back.
Louis is being fostered in the Mid Atlantic (Virginia, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania). To be considered for adoption you must live in one of those states AND live within a 2 hour drive of his foster. We require multiple meetings between the dog and the potential adopter and we do not like to ask our volunteers to spend a lot of time on the road. We do not ship dogs. Electric fences are a no-no. Louis loves his foster's fenced yard, but would be okay without a fenced yard if his forever family were home a lot and could take him for several walks a day. He is still a puppy and needs an active family.
