Lincoln in Mid Atlantic

Hi! My Name Is Lincoln in Mid Atlantic

We're happy to tell you that Lincoln in Mid Atlantic has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Hi there. I’m pretty new to rescue and they’re still busy evaluating me. I do have a mild case of pulmonic stenosis that will require annual cardiac visits for the rest of my life. So any one adopting me must live a reasonable distance from a doggy cardiologist. I also have a grade 3 luxating patella on the right side. Before I can be adopted, the rescue will have a specialist look at my knee and if necessary I will have surgery. That will require a six week recovery. So I won’t be available for adoption before March 1 .

My foster says I am very friendly dog. So far I get along with dogs of all sizes. I even spent some time with the cat and that went well. I have very little manners training, but my fosters promise they will get me up to snuff.  So far I know sit, lay down, and sit up to beg.

I am being fostered in northeastern Pennsylvania. To be considered for my forever home. You must be within a reasonable driving distance of the Foster and you must be willing to absorb pretty high vet costs because of my heart condition.  My forever home MUST have a fenced yard and a minimum 4 foot high fence with no openings anywhere.
