Dear Duchess Lexi is a very sweet senior girl who loves to ride in cars with boys. She also loves good food (her nick name is Groceries) and a cuddle on the couch after dinner, short strolls around the neighborhood, and a yard to sniff the flowers in. Well-mannered, quirky, and delightful, if Julia Roberts was a dog, she’d be Lexi. Lexi came to the Rescue Trust a bit on the peaky side. She had a UTI that just would not go away. X-rays revealed bladder stones . Many, many bladder stones - life-threatening rocks actually - so she had a bit of surgery and has rebounded wonderfully. The UTI is gone. The stones are gone. The accidents are gone. The frequency of potty breaks is normal. Duchess Lexi is looking for a forever home. preferably one with men in the house, who will take her for rides in the car and let her snuggle when they sit on the couch and watch the big game...cause this sweet girl's still got game. Lexi gets along well with other dogs, but was an only dog for most of her life so she’s been learning how to tolerate the hoi poloi. - not easy for a Duchess but we’re definitely making progress. Lexi has a heart murmur but does not require any meds at this time for it and is asymptomatic. Lexi is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Can you say yes to Lexi?
