Lexi is 6 years old and came to rescue with her brother Sammy who is 8. Sadly, their owner passed away and they were brought to a shelter where we rescued them. Lexi has a grade 3 heart murmur but is as sweet as can be. She likes to romp in the grass and cuddle. She came with a bad skin rash which we are taking good care of. Our vet said her heart is a bit enlarged, so we are putting her on pimobendan and taking good care of her skin. She will be in foster with her brother Sammy for a few weeks while they decompress from their difficult few weeks.
We would like to keep Lexi and Sammy together, so if you have room in your heart and house for two adorable dogs, please submit an adoption application. They are being fostered in Cambridge, Maryland and we prefer you not live too far from there as not only must you come meet them, but they must make a trip to your home to make sure it is right for them. We do not ship dogs. A securely fenced yard would be nice, but it is not a requirement because they were city dogs are are used to walking on a leash.
