š Personality & Preferences
Jackson is happiest when he can be near his peopleāhe sleeps peacefully in a crate overnight as long as he can see you.
Once he feels comfortable, he loves to snuggle up beside you for gentle pets, though he prefers not to be picked up or sit in laps.
He gets along with other dogs who respect his space, but if they crowd him, heāll politely āair snapā to ask for distance.
He is not suited for homes with young children, as fast movements and face-to-face interactions make him nervous. Calm teenagers are fine.
He is untested with cats.
š¶ Training & Habits

Walks beautifully on a loose leashāno pulling and rarely stops to sniff.
Deaf, so he may not respond to traditional commands, but he adjusts well with patience and consistency.
Rarely barks and enjoys both men and women equally.
𩺠Health & Care
Jackson has a heart murmur (grade not yet determined).
He eats twice daily, cleans his bowl, and especially loves Charlene Bear dog treats.
As a senior, he isnāt interested in toys, preferring walks, companionship, and naps.
š” Ideal Home
Jackson would do best in a quiet household with a retired single person or couple who can give him the gentle companionship he craves. He enjoys car rides in a secure crate, leisurely walks, and curling up at your feet. With patience and understanding, Jackson will reward his people with loyalty, calm affection, and the joy of sharing life with a dignified senior Cavalier. Jackson
