Jack’s foster wrote us this on him:
Jack is one of the sweetest dogs I know. He is well adjusted and young at heart. Even though he is 7, he currently is not on heart medication but does have a mild heart murmur, common in Cavaliers. He will go on short walks and loves playing fetch. The rest of the day is spent napping. He does not mind baths and being groomed. He is constantly trying to get in to the shower. However, he does not like being alone. When I am not home, he puts himself in his kennel (even though he has run of the house). His favorite thing in all the world is being up on the couch sitting on your lap. Being next to you is not an option. He MUST be touching. When I am doing things around the house, he will follow me around and do his famous sploot position. He is well trained - knows the sit, lay, stay, and no commands. He is completely potty trained and has never marked in my house. He is not a huge eater, but like all Cavaliers, he loves treats. He has been around larger dogs (golden retrievers) and cats and he did just fine with them. Honestly, he is not really interested in any other animals - he just wants to be a lap dog.
If you live within a two hour drive of northern Georgia, please consider completing an adoption application for Jack. He recently had a dental and is ready to audition his new bright smile for potential adopters. A fenced yard would be nice, but is not a requirement for Jack. Electric fences are a no-no.
