Hi. My name is Harper, originally Dan but I just don’t look like a Dan. I am one of the rescues that tested positive for heart worm and my foster parents are doing a great job treating me for it!
I like to nap throughout the day in my crate or in my dog bed. The vet thinks I am around 4 years old and I have a little bit of grey around my eyes which makes me a distinguished handsome dog. I love my new air conditioned home, thank you for getting me out of that extreme heat. I love my crate and my walks but can sometimes be stubborn about putting the harness on. Food? Did you say Food? I am a healthy eater and live for treats. I also love my new dog partner at home but not really crazy about other little dogs when I am out on a walk. I have a fenced in yard but prefer going on walks when possible. Oh…and I love shoes so keep plenty of chew toys on hand. I had my first grooming appointment and did great but don’t like the blow dryer. I need a lot of love to begin to trust that I will be taken care of. I am being fostered in the Baltimore area and love to have someone around most of the day to give me love.
