Are you ready to open your heart and home to the sweetest Cavalier King Charles? Meet Gracie. She is a 5 years old Blenheim with a heart of gold and ready to bring boundless joy, warmth, and tail wags into your life.
Gracie is very adaptable and loves naptime, but she also adores playtime and is always ready for a spirited romp in the yard. She loves children and people of all ages, is fully housebroken (she barks at the door to be let outside), and is crate trained. She absolutely loves car rides. Gracie is timid when she meets large dogs for the first time but reverts to her normal self after an hour. She is very well-behaved but lacks basic obedience training in areas like sit, stay, and come.
Gracie was 10 pounds overweight when they first came to rescue, but she’s lost most of that weight with a combination of measures, including monitored/ measured feedings, plenty of exercise, a complete ban on human food, and very few treats. Gracie has excellent vet records.
When walking outside in the yard, Gracie generally stays right next to her human. She will chase a squirrel but generally listens when you tell her no. She will bark and run towards a passer-byer but will stop short of greeting them unless her human approves. She is always looking for human approval and is the sweetest dog.
