Gizmo in AZ

Gizmo is about 7 years old and is looking for his best friend that will be by his side majority of the time. You see, Gizmo has separation anxiety and hates to be alone. When by his human, he is a happy, sweet baby that really enjoys cuddles and playing fetch. He would make the perfect lap dog that doesn’t exert a lot of energy. except with toys that make noise! He does great with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Gizmo would do fine in a home with another dog or just himself so that he is guaranteed a lap for himself. He does best with a pretty consistent schedule because he gets a lot of security from knowing what to expect. He has a hard time dealing with change. He would be great with a retired couple or someone who works from home. He needs to be allowed to sleep in the bedroom with his people at night. He really enjoys lounging & exploring outside, so someone that likes to sit and enjoy the outdoors would be perfect for him. His ideal home should include someone that is home majority of the time, a fenced in yard and without young children. He came to us with fleas dermatitis which we have treated. He is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. He is available for adoption to approved homes.
