George in California

George is in Northern California. This spry 13 year old is active for his age. He loves to go on his mile walk every day and enjoys cuddling on the couch too. He would do best in a home with the owner home most of the time, his previous owners were older and had to make a living change in their life, we can tell he is used to someone home most of the time with him. George is on heart meds, minimal heart enlargement with a grade 4 murmur, this doesn't slow him down. George also is deaf. He is a true gentleman, very gentle, a good eater and a lover bug. He knows how to use a doggy door. He is very gentle around other dogs, adults and children alike, and is very reliably house trained and has never had an “accident” in his foster home. While he would probably do well with children of all ages, he would probably do best in a home with kids over five.
