Hi! I’m Franklin. I’m a sometimes-shy sweet boy who just might capture your heart! The vet says I’m about three and a half years old, but my Foster Mom says I act more like a puppy! I think she says that because I am so eager to play and run around in the back yard chasing birds and butterflies. I play happily with my foster brothers and sisters and am very cooperative. I can be shy around new places and people, but I’m learning to cuddle and I love treats!
I get so excited at mealtime that I bark and sometimes will bark to get to play! I can sit and walk on a leash and I’m working on coming when called. I have met a cat and I tried to play with him, but his reaction wasn’t very nice! I love my crate and sometimes I even go to bed on my own – but I love to sneak into bed with the rest of my family. I sleep through the night and I’m pretty good at potty training. I would love to have a home where I have another dog to play with and learn from and a family who have lots of love and patience!
