Esther in GA

Esther is 7 years old and is the absolute sweetest, laid back couch potato that LOVES to cuddle. She wants to hang out wherever the people are, and while she enjoys attention from everyone she definitely has a *favorite* person. Not a runner, and not interested in exploring, she just wants to be next to you so she’ll go outside but only if you go with her. She LOVES mealtime, and will take special treats (sparingly due to her condition) so gently. She is usually very quiet unless her favorite person comes home after being gone for awhile, then she will let out a few adorable grunts and barks of excitement. She is also quiet about asking to go outside, so she had a couple of accidents in the house until she started being taken out regularly. She loves laying on the couch with her head in your lap, or requesting belly rubs; and while she gets along wonderfully with our other dogs (and even plays with them!) i think she would really love to be the center of attention. She sleeps in the bed, ideally close enough to touch you, but she will also accept staying on the floor in a dog bed if she must. She was recently diagnosed as diabetic, so she gets insulin injections twice per day, every day with zero complaints whatsoever. It is easier to give her insulin than to give our other dog pills! She loves car rides and is the perfect office companion, she's happy to tag along anywhere as long as she gets to hang out with you. Esther's ideal home would be one where she can be with her people most of the day, whether that’s at home or work or running errands where she won’t be left in the car. No need for extensive exercise, just plenty of potty breaks...she’s perfectly content just lounging and cuddling all day. She does need someone comfortable with giving injectable medications since she needs insulin religiously twice every day, but she makes it very easy. She is spayed, has had a recent dental, isup to date on vaccinations and microchipped. She is available to a qualified home in GA and surrounding states.
