Emily came to Rescue with a large intake in then Pacific Northwest. We do not m ow her exact age. We estimate she is 2-3 years old. She recently had a litter of five puppies and was kept with her litter until they were done nursing. She was then placed with a foster family in the Portland area. Her foster family sent us this update:
Emily is the sweetest girl. She arrived here hesitant and afraid, but each day, she is perking up and showing us her personality. She gets along great with her cavalier foster siblings, and while she is still learning how to play, she loves to watch and wags her tail. She is a great eater and is enthusiastic about treats! Emily follows you into every room, and is loving belly rubs and long naps on the couch. She is learning to walk on a leash and has had very few accidents. In typical cavalier fashion, Emmy is both loyal and loving.
Emily has been spayed and is still decompressing from her previous home. To be considered for her forever family you must live within a two hour drive from her foster family. We do not ship dogs. Electric fences are a big no-no.
