Djali is a gentle soul with a heart full of sunshine and a tail that wags at the sight of a friendly face. Though she’s not quite ready for adoption—she’s still receiving medical care and has a suspected heart murmur—this sweet Blenheim girl is blossoming in foster care and learning what it means to be loved.
At her core, Djali is a simple creature: lower energy, endlessly cheerful, and wonderfully easy to please. She adores people instantly and gets along beautifully with other dogs, especially those who are confident and can help show her the ropes. Djali came to us with no prior training, but she’s making steady progress—she’s now crate trained, working on house training, and learning the joys of leash walks, toys, treats, and chews.
Car rides are still a new adventure, but she’s mostly good in the car and always eager to be near her people. Djali would thrive in a patient home that understands she’s still mastering her life skills and needs time, kindness, and consistency. A canine companion would be a wonderful bonus to help her continue building confidence.
She’s not yet spayed and will remain in our care until she’s medically cleared and fully ready for her forever family. For now, we’re celebrating every small milestone—each happy tail wag, each brave step forward—as Djali discovers the world with wide-eyed wonder.
