Hello, world! My name is Dixie—but friends call me “Dixie Doo.” Sometimes, when curiosity gets the better of me, you might even hear “Dixie Don’t!” echo through the house. What can I say? Life’s more fun when you’re a little mischievous!
At just 10 months old, I’m a bundle of puppy energy and joy, exploring every corner and sniffing every shoe. Some call it nosiness, but I prefer to think of myself as an intrepid explorer, always on the lookout for something new and exciting (and maybe just a smidge off-limits).
I’m a quick learner—especially when treats or playtime are involved! I already know my name, and I take my biscuits ever so gently. Playing fetch is one of my favorite games, although I still think the real fun is in the chase. If you ask me to bring the ball back, I might just raise a royal eyebrow—after all, it’s much more entertaining to run with it!
Toys are a passion of mine, especially ones I can chew to my heart’s content. And when it comes to food, let’s just say I have a nose for “clean-up opportunities.” If you need a kitchen assistant, I’m your gal.
Don’t let my lively streak fool you, though. After playtime, I’m perfectly content to curl up by your side and soak in all the love you have to give. I settle down beautifully and can’t wait for those quiet, snuggly moments with my forever family.
I’m still working on a few “grown-up dog” skills, like walking nicely on a leash and mastering my excitement when it’s time to go out. I do have a touch of separation anxiety, but I’m improving every day with gentle guidance and patience. I just love being near my people and want to make sure I never miss out on the fun!
What I’m really searching for is a loving, patient human (or family!) who’s ready to join me on all of life’s adventures. If you’re looking for a curious, affectionate, joyful Cavalier ready to fill your days with laughter, play, and the sweetest puppy cuddles—let’s meet soon!
Dixie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to find her happily-ever-after. Could you be the one to show her the world?
