Chloe East North Central

Hi! My Name Is Chloe East North Central

We're happy to tell you that Chloe East North Central has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Chloe is a phenomenal little spaniel with the most soulful eyes you’ll ever meet. She is a true companion dog — the kind who wants to be touching her person, leaning against them, or curled up right at their feet. If you’re looking for a devoted shadow who follows you from room to room with quiet love, Chloe is your girl.

🌿 Discovering Life Outside the Breeder Cage

After spending her life in a breeder environment, Chloe is finally experiencing the world — and she is thriving. She adores watching birds, squirrels, rabbits, and deer. She loves the smell of grass and flowers and happily accepts pets from every friendly human she meets. Her foster brothers have helped her learn the ropes, and she has blossomed under their guidance.

Chloe is extremely smart, very responsive to her person, and loves humans, dogs, and animals of all kinds.

🚶‍♀️ Daily Life & Personality

Chloe is a gentle, affectionate girl who:

Walks well on a leash

Can be trusted off‑leash in safe environments when she can see her humans

Comes when called and understands basic routines

Loves car rides and knows exactly what it means when you pick up the keys

Enjoys exploring scents like any good spaniel

Occasionally gets the “zoomies” and joyfully races around the house with her foster brother

She is a wonderful sleeper, a very good eater, and has normal, consistent bathroom habits. Because she came in underweight, she currently eats three meals a day and enjoys her food with enthusiasm.

🩺 Health

She has recovered from:

A double ear infection

A double eye infection

Dental surgery removing 16 teeth

None of this has slowed her down. She eats FreshPet (semi‑soft) and small hard treats without issue. Her ears are currently clear, though she may have some long‑term hearing loss from untreated infections earlier in life.

💤 Comfort & Sensitivities

Like many dogs from breeding situations, Chloe can be startled by:

Fast movements

Loud noises

Fireworks and thunderstorms

When frightened, she finds comfort in her crate and buries herself in her blankets. She also loves sleeping in bed with her humans and has very little concept of personal space — she wants to be close.

She snores, dreams actively, and is endlessly endearing.

🧡 Ideal Home

Chloe needs a home where someone is present most of the day. She becomes anxious when left alone and thrives when she can follow her person everywhere. She rides beautifully in the car, behaves well in public, and enjoys outings to parks, pet stores, and even Home Depot.

She is friendly with people and dogs, though she sometimes approaches other dogs too quickly, so her adopter should be mindful during introductions.

🌟 Why She’s Special

Chloe is one of the most appreciative foster dogs her caretakers have ever had. She makes them smile every single day. Her past was unfair, but her future can be extraordinary with someone who will help her forget the life she came from and embrace the joy ahead.
