Charlie in Midwest

Hi. My name is Charlie. I’m a little shy when I first meet you, but I warm up really fast if you let me come to you at my own pace.
A few things about me:
-I love sitting or lying next to my human, as close as possible.
-I get so excited and make the cutest noises when I get my harness on to go for a walk -I waste no time eating and love snacks- I might even try to steal your food if you leave it unattended.

I have been living with 2 dogs in my foster home and I am learning to interact with them, but I mostly ignore them. My foster mom thinks I will be happy as an only dog with someone who is home a lot. My favorite thing to do is sitting as close as possible to my family and sitting on your lap if you let me. When I’m not laying by you, I won’t let you out of my sight, so I know exactly where you are.

I like my kennel and sleep in my own bed on the floor next to my foster mom, but I love snuggling with her when she lets me on her bed. I even sneak under the covers if it’s cold in the room.

My favorite activity is going for walks. My foster mom walks me 2 miles a day. I’m told I’m a good boy when I walk, but I get excited when I see other dogs come by.

I am a very healthy boy and am not on any medication, so all I need from my new family is a lot of love and attention.

I can’t wait to meet my forever family. My foster mom thinks I’m the sweetest and I hope you will too.
