Buddy in the Pacific Northwest

Hi! My Name Is Buddy in the Pacific Northwest

I'm in the Recovery Room - I'll Be Available Soon

Buddy is a gentle, affectionate Blenheim boy who has endured a heartbreaking loss but still meets the world with sweetness. After his owner passed away, Buddy arrived grieving and underweight. With patience and care, he has begun to brighten again and is showing his naturally loving personality.

Buddy is friendly with everyone — children, adults, dogs, and even cats. He enjoys car rides, walks, cuddling, and being close to his person. He has good manners, walks well on leash, and is housebroken. His marking has already improved significantly in foster care.

Buddy has a history of separation anxiety and did not tolerate crating in the past. His very experienced foster is beginning gentle crate‑work to see whether this can be improved for his safety, but at this time Buddy does best in a home where he is not confined and can stay near his person.

He is adapting well to structure, learning boundaries, and getting along beautifully with the other dogs in his foster home. He is a sensitive, loyal companion who simply wants to belong again.

Buddy would thrive in a calm home with someone who is present most of the time and looking for a devoted best friend. He is ready to share quiet moments, warm laps, and steady companionship with someone who will cherish him.
