Belle in the Midwest

Hi! My Name Is Belle in the Midwest

We're happy to tell you that Belle in the Midwest has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Belle is a 3.5 yr old  happy little snuggle bug. She is a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly especially if a treat is involved! She gets along well with other cavaliers. She is shy around bigger dogs.

Belle was diagnosed with IBD and a leaky gut. Our vet did a blood allergy test and we learned Belle  is allergic to wheat, rabbit and yeast. She also has some seasonal allergies. She currently takes a Chinese herbal supplement (Harmonize the Stomach), vitamin B to help with food absorption and a probiotic. She is on the prescription diet Hills Science RX along with other fresh foods. She has had no IBD flares in the past three months and is doing well on foods that don’t contain wheat.

Belle is fully house trained and is crate trained.   She loves older gentle children who allow her time to get to know them.  She does have a mild cat allergy so a home with no cats would be best.  She would do best in a home with another Cavalier companion and a family that is gone less than 4-6 hours a day.

Belle is being fostered in the Midwest (includes Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota).  If you live within a reasonable drive of her foster you may be considered for adoption.
