Rescue Angels, it's me, Bear. It's been a busy few weeks for me and now I've got some serious discussing I need to do with all of you. I've been back to see my favorite vet and they discovered I have a chronic health issue. It's called Perianal Fistula. They looked, because I was still having pain when I pooped. Recent research shows it's an auto immune disease. I'm now on an immune suppressing drug called Cyclosporine to help manage it. It's expensive: $85/month at Costco! And, with all the other medications I must be on, my medicine costs, right now, are about $300/month. Eventually, we may be able to reduce the dosage of Cyclosporine, so the cost might decrease just a little. The Rescue Trust says I can be made available for adoption now since they know everything that is going on with me and have done everything they possibly could to make me feel better. I think it would be good if the adoptive family might be a veterinarian or maybe a vet tech, who would understand me and not worry so much if I yelp when I poop. I'm a good boy, but I come with a lot of problems and challenges and they are ongoing. I'd love to go to work with you every day. The Rescue Trust asks that before you apply to adopt me, you really read my post and understand my issues. Thank you Rescue Angels, for giving me this second chance. Now, won't you please help me find my forever family? Remember, read what I wrote! I'm an expensive guy to keep, but I sure am handsome! I am looking for a wonderful home in the Scottsdale/ Mesa/ East Valley of Phoenix so I can be near the wonderful doctors who are helping me. Love, Bear ❤️
