She wakes each morning with full‑body wiggles, gives her signature “hug,” does her potty, eats breakfast, and then settles in for snuggles before a day of play, naps, and companionship.

Ruby is an incredibly sweet, sensitive young lady who loves with her whole heart. She is clingy in the most endearing way and thrives on being included. She’s polite with new people, quiet in the home, and wonderfully gentle with other animals—she ignores the chickens and rabbits and has shown no aggression toward any dogs in her foster home.
She adores toys and gets very excited about chasing and bringing them back. Offer her a toy and she lights up. Offer her a lap and she melts.
Her affection is tender and unique—she doesn’t lick much, but she will climb up your chest, rest her chin on your nose, and press her paws gently on either side of your head. It’s her version of a hug.

Ruby is house‑trained and uses the doggy door reliably. She comes back inside wiggling with pride, thrilled to be told she’s a “good girl.” She’s working on a proper sit, but her enthusiasm sometimes gets ahead of her.
