Cinnamon Southeast

Hi! My Name Is Cinnamon Southeast

We're happy to tell you that Cinnamon Southeast has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Cinnamon is a bright, affectionate young ruby girl who charms everyone she meets. She’s sweet, people‑oriented, and absolutely adores being close to her person—especially her foster mom, who she follows with devoted enthusiasm. Cinnamon is very much a “girl’s girl”: social, expressive, and happiest when she’s the center of someone’s world.

🌟 Personality & Home Life

Cinnamon settled into her foster home quickly. She was initially unsure about her foster siblings, but that hesitation faded fast and she now navigates the home with confidence and curiosity.

Completely house trained

Walks beautifully on leash

Transitions easily between leash walks and fenced‑yard potty time

Crate trained (will go in when asked)

Loves toys, playtime, and exploring the yard

Shows little interest in the resident cats

She has a wide vocabulary of cues and happily offers sit, shake, come, down, and give. She enjoys tug, fetch, and gentle indoor play, and outside she loves to stretch her legs with zoomies and chase games. If another dog is overly forward or rough, she’ll politely avoid them—she prefers dogs who match her energy and play style.

In the evenings, Cinnamon melts into her foster mom’s lap for brushing sessions, drifting off with tiny snores. She truly loves being pampered.

🐾 Daily Rhythm

Cinnamon thrives on routine. Her day starts around 7 a.m. with a potty break, breakfast, and a little morning exploration. She rotates between play, checking in on her foster mom, and napping throughout the day. She has several potty opportunities, dinner around 8 p.m., and a final trip outside around 9:30 before sleeping through the night in her own bed beside her foster mom.

She’s an excellent car rider and enjoys meeting new people and friendly dogs.

🩺 Health Notes

Cinnamon is a young, active girl with a few medical considerations that adopters should be prepared to monitor as she grows:

Luxating Patellas:

Left: Grade 2

Right: Grade 1

No lameness or discomfort noted at this time. Monitoring recommended as she matures.

Dry Eye Testing:

She has low‑grade dryness that should be watched over time.

Sensitive Tummy:

Foster parents are transitioning her to a gentler diet.

She is a hearty eater—but only from her favorite bowl, which she arrived with and clearly recognizes.

🏡 Ideal Home

Cinnamon would thrive in a home where she is deeply loved and included in daily life. She enjoys companionship and praise and would do well as:

The cherished only dog or

A companion to one gentle, compatible dog

She does not enjoy rough or intense play from other dogs. She loves outdoor time and sometimes needs to be called in because she’s having too much fun exploring.

Cinnamon does protest with barking when left alone—whether loose or crated—but she settles, especially with the comfort of other dogs in the home. Continued routine and reassurance will help her continue to grow in confidence.

Cinnamon is a joyful, loving, intelligent young Cavalier who wants nothing more than to be someone’s treasured companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful girl who will adore you, keep you laughing, and melt into your lap every evening, Cinnamon may be your perfect match.
