Lady East North Central

Hi! My Name Is Lady East North Central

We're happy to tell you that Lady East North Central has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Lady is a young Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, born in 2023, and she is every bit as charming as her name suggests. Petite in size but overflowing with spirit, this little girl is playful, quick, athletic, and absolutely determined to keep up with the “big kids.” She currently lives with two larger two‑year‑old Cavalier boys and has no trouble matching their energy, their zoomies, or their snuggle pile.

Personality & Temperament

Lady is the definition of a Cavalier shadow. She wants to be with her people—touching them, leaning on them, watching them, smelling them, and following them from room to room. She is sweet, a touch shy at first, but warms up almost instantly. Once she decides you’re hers, she is all in.

She loves:

Chasing toys

Wrestling and tug‑of‑war with her foster brothers

Exploring the yard

Snuggling into a Cavalier pile

Tucking herself under your chin, on your neck, or anywhere she can be close

She is incredibly attentive and watches everything happening in the home. If you go somewhere, she wants to go too—stores, parks, errands, adventures. She is a wonderful traveler and gathers admirers everywhere she goes.

Training & Daily Routine

Lady is a smart little girl who:

Knows her name and responds immediately

Signals when she needs to go outside

Goes potty on command

Walks beautifully on a leash at a brisk pace

Sleeps through the night

Eats with enthusiasm (Farmers Dog is her favorite, especially slightly frozen)

Like many Cavaliers, she can get distracted by all the wonderful smells outdoors, but she refocuses quickly when asked. Off‑leash, she is lightning fast but has excellent recall and comes right back when called.

She is also surprisingly athletic—this tiny girl can leap from the floor onto a king‑size platform bed without help.

Lady is not a fan of being alone or being crated for long periods. She sleeps 8–9 hours on her human’s schedule and prefers to sleep in the bed, tucked right up against her person.

Health

Lady is up to date on vaccinations, but will need a dental in the next 6-12 months.

She eats twice a day and enjoys small crunchy treats.

Ideal Home

Lady would thrive in a home where:

Her people are home most of the time

She is the center of attention

There is another small, friendly dog to play with (not required but she loves it)

Walks, playtime, and adventures are part of the daily routine

She can accompany her humans on errands and outings

Be prepared to add at least 10 minutes to every trip—Lady attracts admirers everywhere she goes.

She is affectionate, people‑oriented, and happiest when she can be close to her humans. She will nap near you during the day or curl up in your lap if you’re willing.

Why Lady Is Special

Lady is the whole package—sweet, social, athletic, cuddly, and deeply devoted. She deserves a family who will give her the time, love, and companionship she craves. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a lifetime of joy.
