Kelce is a sweet, timid Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is just beginning to discover the comforts of home life. He arrived in rescue recently and is still learning to trust and adapt to his new surroundings. While his foster mate, Ollie, jumped right in with confidence, Kelce has taken a slower, more cautious path. But each day brings small victories—like choosing to sit by his foster mom or curling up on the couch for quiet companionship.
Personality & Progress
Timid at first, but once he warms up, Kelce is affectionate and gentle.
Loves the company of other Cavaliers—he plays with Ollie and happily lounges near his foster family’s dogs.
Shy with new people, but polite and non-reactive. At the vet, he charmed the staff with his sweetness.
Food-motivated and quick to learn—he already knows how to sit for treats.
Still working on house training, marking, and leash skills, but shows promise with patience and consistency.
Medical & Care Needs
Kelce was just recently had his dental and was neutered. He did have seven teeth removed and is recovering. He also had additional ear infection treatment, and will be re-checked in a few weeks. the vet did not lens changes in his eyes, that just need to watched for changes.
