Say hello to Benny! He’s a 2-year-old male Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is brand new to our rescue family. Benny is currently settling in, getting to know his foster environment, and winning hearts with his upbeat attitude. While Benny isn’t quite ready for adoption yet, we’re excited to share his story as he begins his journey toward a forever home.
Benny is bursting with energy and joy! He’s an ambitious, playful pup who lights up any room with his quirky antics. Benny’s curious mind means he’s always eager to explore. He loves chasing toys, playing with other pups, and making people laugh with his funny, excited approach to life. Benny responds to his name and is a quick learner—he just wants to be involved in everything!
Right now, Benny is focused on his health and well-being. He still has some important veterinary care ahead, including a scheduled vet appointment and a neuter procedure. Until these are complete, Benny is not yet available for adoption. His daily routine includes eating twice a day and enjoying a special treat of frozen vegetables after dinner. He’s also a big fan of ice cubes—watch his eyes light up when you offer him one!
Benny thrives on exercise and does best with plenty of playtime and walks. He gets along well with other dogs, making him a great companion for canine playmates. Cats, however, are a bit too exciting for Benny—he can’t resist the urge to chase! He is working on his basic commands and is especially learning “DROP IT” and “Wait.” Benny can be a bit mouthy and loves to chew on small objects and stuffed toys, so supervision and safe chew items are a must.
Benny would shine in an active home where he can get lots of regular exercise, fun, and positive guidance. An energetic family who loves the outdoors and is dedicated to continuing his training would be a perfect match. Benny needs a safe environment, a patient approach, and a sense of adventure to match his own!
