Zero is a sweet-natured soul, with expressive eyes and a soft, silky coat. Though he is not yet available for adoption as he continues to settle in, we’d like to introduce him to those following our journey.
Zero has been neutered and is up to date on his initial veterinary care. During his intake exam, Zero tested positive for Lyme. He is currently on prescribed medication and will need some time to finish his treatment. We’re monitoring his health closely and will provide updates on his recovery as we learn more.
When it comes to home life, Zero is housebroken and crate trained. He sleeps comfortably in his crate at night and is allowed on furniture, where he loves to curl up and nap. He’s friendly with strangers, though his submissive nature and tendency to jump up may be his way of seeking reassurance. Zero walks well on a leash but has shown signs of being an escape artist, so a secure yard and attentive supervision are important.
We will learn more about Zero each day. A patient, loving environment, we believe he will blossom. He might do best with a young couple or family with older children who can give him the calm, respectful space he deserves.
Zero isn’t quite ready for adoption yet—he’s still adjusting to his new surroundings and his foster is committed to understanding his unique needs and building his confidence. We will update his profile as we learn more during his healing and transition.
