A Sweet Blenheim Puppy Looking for a Loving, Understanding Home
Meet Biscuit, an irresistibly cuddly Blenheim Cavalier puppy with a spirit as warm and comforting as his name. Biscuit is a young boy with a heart of gold and an unflappable zest for life, waiting patiently for his forever family while he completes his veterinary journey.
Biscuit has a unique story: at just four months old, he suffered a fracture in his front left leg, leaving it a bit crooked and less functional than the rest—but all the more endearing. His doctor assures us that, since Biscuit isn’t in pain, he can keep his leg for now, though he walks with a quirky, charming gait. If discomfort ever arises in the future, surgery may be necessary, but for today, Biscuit is thriving and playful.
Biscuit’s resilience shines in everything he does. He loves to chase after pull toys, balls, stuffed animals, and his absolute favorite—a cat toy on a stick! He might move a bit differently, but don’t be fooled: he’s quick to adapt, and his enthusiasm is contagious. While the resident older dogs in his foster home prefer a quieter pace, Biscuit is always ready to make new canine friends, especially those close to his size and gentle in their play. He’s also remarkably friendly and outgoing, meeting new people with a wagging tail and calm, quiet confidence that is rare in puppies his age.
Obedience training is new to Biscuit, but he’s eager to learn and already has a solid “sit.” He’s making steady progress with his “off” command to curb his excitement when greeting people. House training is coming along beautifully—he potties outside first thing in the morning and is nearly fully outdoor trained, though he still uses a pee pad by the door on occasion. Like any young pup, when he’s very excited or nervous, he may dribble a tiny bit.
After a good play session, Biscuit is happiest curled up on your chest or snuggled in bed with his humans and dog friends. Ultimately, though, he’s settled and quiet in his crate overnight, sleeping soundly until morning. He eats heartily—Blue Buffalo puppy kibble mixed with canned food twice a day—and never turns down a treat.
Biscuit’s adventures extend to the water, too! To help strengthen his injured leg, he swims for 15–20 minutes each day, mastering the steps in and out of the pool. The highlight, however, is always the post-swim towel-dry—nothing delights Biscuit more than rolling around and burrowing into his towel.
Because of his injury and special needs, Biscuit will require a home that can provide gentle, thoughtful care. He travels well in the car, carried securely in his travel crate, and should always be discouraged from jumping off furniture or high surfaces—he’s a brave little soul, but caution keeps him safe. His foster family recommends a home with older children who understand the importance of being gentle and calm with him, and a canine playmate who matches his friendly, careful playstyle.
Biscuit’s original family loved him dearly but made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him when they realized they couldn’t provide the specialized care he deserves. In every way, this exuberant, loving pup has shown incredible trust and resilience. He is ready for a family who sees his unique gifts and is prepared to help him thrive for years to come.
If you’re seeking a sweet, snuggly, quietly playful companion with a courageous heart and a lifetime of gratitude to give, Biscuit is waiting—hoping to find that special someone who will treasure his quirks, champion his progress, and surround him with the love he so freely returns.
